Area mascots are participating in the challenge at the Hy-Vee on Broadway or the County Market on Spring. The two hour blocks started Monday with the Quincy High Blue Devil and will be followed by: the Quincy Notre Dame Raider, from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Hy-Vee, Culver-Stockton Wildcat, from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hy-Vee, Woody from John Wood Community College, from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hy-Vee, the Quincy University Hawk, from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at County Market and the Salvation Army Captain Kettle, from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hy-Vee. The Quincy High students were accompanied by cheer coach Penny Little and superintendent Roy Webb.
