Two arrested in July shooting

QUINCY -- Two Quincy men have been arrested in a shooting last month on Ill. 57 in rural Adams County.

Stefan K. Crider III, 29, and Donte M. Clausell, 32, were arrested Thursday on charges of attempted first-degree murder and aggravated discharge of a firearm.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department said the two were arrested after a monthlong investigation.

Both were taken to the Adams County Jail on $500,000 bond.

Assisting in the arrests were the U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force and Quincy Police Department Street Crimes Unit.
