QUINCY -- The Adams County Health Department reported Friday that 13 people have tested positive for the virus, bringing the county's total number of COVID-19 cases to 484.
Of those testing positive were: two males and three females in their 40s, four females in their 50s, and two males and two females in their 60s.
The department also reported with 121 active cases, 15 people are hospitalized, including one in the intensive care unit.
Since the start of the pandemic, 256 women and 225 men in the county have tested positive, with the largest number of cases being diagnosed in people between 50 and 59 old. This group accounts for 90 of the county's cases.
In Friday's data, the department said it fielded 282 calls to the COVID-19 hotline, down from a high on July 20 when 364 calls were placed during a 24-day period.
