Quincy man arrested after reportedly exposing himself to children

QUINCY -- A Quincy man was arrested after he reportedly approached young girls in a southeast Quincy neighborhood and exposed himself.

Nathan J. Nelson, 18, of the 900 block of South 20th, was arrested Wednesday morning on a charge of sexual exploitation of a child.

The Quincy Police Department said it started an investigation after receiving a report that a "suspicious male" approached young girls and exposed himself. During the investigation, police said more complaints were received involving the same man.

Nelson was taken to the Adams County Jail after his arrest.
