State Police arrest Missouri man in semitruck theft

BARRY, Ill. -- A Springfield, Mo., man has been arrested after law officers say he stole a semitruck from a local business.

The Illinois State Police said that a state trooper found the stolen 2013 Mack semitruck on Interstate 72 in Pike County, near Barry. The driver of the truck, Jimmy Devons Coe, 38, was arrested Wednesday morning.

He has been charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a stolen vehicle and theft of items valued at $10,000.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department assisted in the investigation.
