Married 50 years: Royce and Jacqueline Casey

Royce E. and Jacqueline D. Casey of 720 N. 49th St., Quincy, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They recently returned from visiting the northeast after seeing their 49th and 50th states.

Mr. Casey, and the former Jacqueline Smith, were married Oct. 19, 1969, at Vermont Street Methodist Church in Quincy.

Royce is a son of the late Eugene and Helen Casey. Jacqueline is a daughter of the late Cecil and Irene Smith.

They are the parents of Karen (Todd) Casey Holtmann of Wildwood, Mo., and Kevin (Nicole) Casey of Rockford, Ill. They have two grandchildren.

Royce retired as Fleet Manager for Sharkey Transportation.

Jacqueline retired as an EEG Technician for Blessing Hospital.

They both have enjoyed traveling with their RV for many years, especially spending several months in Alaska after their retirement. The couple has traveled to all 50 states.
