Married 25 years: Dan and Lou Ann Goehl

Dan and Lou Ann Goehl of 2701 Brook Dr., Quincy, are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary by taking a trip at a later date.

Mr. Goehl, and the former Lou Ann McGlaughlin, were married Oct. 21, 1994, at the court house in Quincy, Ill.

Dan is a son of the late Charles (Bill) and Pauline Goehl. Lou Ann is a daughter of Kenny and Pearl McGlaughlin of Colchester, Ill., and Wanda Webster and the late Jim Webster of Quincy.

The couple met at Uncle Bob's Bar.

They are the parents of Nathan Goehl of Quincy, and have two granddaughters.

Mr. Goehl is employed by T. F. Ehrhart Co.

Mrs. Goehl works part-time as cafeteria help at QPS and retired in Oct. 2015 as a LPN of IVH after nearly 27 years of service.

They both enjoy riding their 3-wheeled motorcycle, taking trips and spending time with their grandchildren.

They are of the Catholic faith.

Dale and Karen "Susie" Hatfield of 624 Ohio St., Quincy, 62301, are celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary with a card shower, requested by their children. Mr. Hatfield and the former Karen Sue Silman were married Dec. 14, 1974, in Ewing (Mo.)

James and Marie Ebbing of 430 Evergreen East, Quincy, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. Mr. Ebbing, and the former Marie Simon, were married Dec. 12, 1959, at Salem Church, 9th and State, Quincy. The couple met when Marie lived on a farm
