Hannibal man arrested on drug charge after search of home

HANNIBAL, Mo. -- A 60-year-old Hannibal man was arrested Wednesday after police said a large amount of suspected crack cocaine and U.S. currency was found in his residence.

Adrian D. Williams was arrested on a charge of delivery of a controlled substance and two warrants for probation violations.

The Hannibal Police Department said department's Anti-Crime Enforcement Squad and the Special Response Team served a search warrant at the residence in the 1900 block of Chestnut where crack cocaine and money reportedly were found.

Williams is being held in the Marion County Jail on a combined $65,000 cash-only bond.

Assisting was the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the East Central Drug Task Force.
