Menards manager accused of stealing more than $100k

QUINCY -- A manager at the Quincy's Menards was arrested Wednesday on a charge of theft over $100,000.

Michelle R. Lewis, 34, of Quincy, is being held in the Adams County Jail pending her first court appearance.

The Quincy Police Department said it was contacted Saturday by Menards corporate security about a possible internal theft. An investigation by the department and Menards security reportedly found that Lewis took money starting in January.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
