LOUISIANA, Mo. -- One person suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon northwest of Louisiana.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2004 Chevrolet 1500 driven by Stanley Hartwick, 42, of Louisiana, was heading north at 1:50 p.m. on Mo. 79 when it failed to negotiate a curve and the back end of the vehicle slid into the southbound lane in the path of a 2003 Ford F-150 driven by Aaron W. Fairchild, 39, of Bowling Green.

Hartwick was taken by a state trooper to Pike County Memorial Hospital for treatment. Fairchild was not injured.

The patrol said both men were wearing seat belts.
