HANNIBAL, Mo. -- Two teens from Hannibal and one from Palmyra were injured in a Wednesday afternoon crash northwest of Hannibal.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said that a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze driven by Madison R. Worrell, 16, of Palmyra, was traveling west on County Road 404, 3 miles northwest of Hannibal, at 4:20 p.m.

The patrol said the vehicle traveled off the left side of the road, became airborne, struck a ditch and overturned, coming to rest on its top.

Worrell, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Marion County Ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., with minor injuries. Two passengers in the vehicle -- Gage A. Ruddell, 15, and Madelynn B. Wilson, 17, both of Hannibal, who were not wearing seat belts -- were taken by Marion County Ambulance to Blessing with moderate injuries.

The patrol was assisted by the Marion County Sheriff's Department, Hannibal Police Department, Marion County Ambulance and Marion County Fire Department.
