The Culver-Stockton College softball team is bringing some mojo home.

The Wildcats swept William Penn 4-2 and 9-3 on Tuesday in Oskaloosa, Iowa, in the final Heart of America Athletic Conference road doubleheader of the regular season. C-SC (27-18, 21-11 Heart) will wrap up the regular season with doubleheaders Saturday against Missouri Valley and Sunday against Central Methodist at Himsl Field in Canton, Mo.

In the opener against William Penn, McKena O'Donnell threw a complete game, allowing two runs on three hits. Avery Johnson tied the game in the sixth with a solo home run and the Wildcats took a 3-2 on a sac fly from Sydney Williams. Hannah Hollock added a solo home run.

In the nightcap, the game was tied at 3 going into extra innings when the Wildcats scored six runs on five hits in the 10th inning. O'Donnell picked up the victory with five innings of relief in which she allowed one hit and had three strikeouts. Johnson went 3 for 5 with two RBIs and a home run.

Lindenwood Belleville baseball 5, Culver-Stockton 4: The Wildcats' ninth-inning rally fell short as they lost their third one-run game in the last five days. The Wildcats trailed 5-3 going into the bottom of the ninth after the Lynx scratched across a run in the top of the ninth. Back-to-back singles to lead off the inning by Chase Jones and Nick Stratman put runners on first and second. Stratman and Sharan Rasan, who was pinch-running for Jones, advanced on a wild pitch with one out.

Pinch-hitter Logan Windsor grounded out, driving in Rasan and advancing Stratman to third. Alejandro Cardinale, who had two hits, flew out to left field to end the game.

The Lynx (26-24) scored three runs in the second and another in the third to take a 4-1 lead. A Stratman RBI triple and a wild pitch brought in two runs for the Wildcats in the fourth. Jones went 3 for 4 and Stratman went 2 for 4.

Kobe Watson pitched seven innings in relief for the Wildcats (17-27) and gave up two runs on six hits.

Hannibal-LaGrange baseball 7-3, Lincoln Christian 3-2: Zack Seiler's two-run single in the top of the sixth highlighted a five-run outburst that helped the Trojans capture the first game of the doubleheader in Lincoln, Ill.

In the opener, Trojan pitcher Jorden Billings tossed a complete game and allowed just three runs on five hits while striking out four. Seiler, Chet Merritt and Alex Roy drove in two runs apiece for HLGU (17-30).

In the second game, Merritt had three hits and Matthew Bulatovich added two for the Trojans. Ryan Lunsford pitched six innings, striking out five and allowing three hits to earn the victory. Joel Martis picked up the save with a scoreless seventh.
