CALLAO, Mo. -- A Lewistown man was involved in a Thursday morning crash that injured a Callao woman.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said that a 2013 Dodge Avenger driven by Anne M. Freeman, 32, of Callao, was traveling 2 miles west of Callao, at 7:40 a.m. and a 2005 International 4400 bucket truck driven by Aaron M. Olson, 28, of Lewistown, was traveling west on U.S. 36. The patrol said the Dodge drove into the path of the bucket truck, which struck the driver's side of the Dodge. The Dodge came to rest in the median, and the bucket truck came to rest on the left shoulder.

Freeman was to seek treatment on her own for minor injuries.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol said.

The patrol was assisted by the Macon County Sheriff's Department, Rescue Squad and Ambulance.
