REVERE, Mo. -- A Bonaparte, Iowa, woman was injured in a Friday morning crash that was attributed to icy road conditions in Clark County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Selina A. Meyer, 29, of Bonaparte, Iowa, was heading south at 11:10 a.m. on Mo. 81, 9 miles north of Kahoka, when it lost control on the ice-covered road, and went off the road and overturned.

A passenger in the car, Debra A. Williams, 62, was taken by Clark County Ambulance to Keokuk Area Hospital in Iowa for treatment of moderate injuries. Meyer was not injured.

Police said both women were wearing seat belts.

Also assisting at the scene was the Clark County Sheriff's Department.
