Boy Scouts hire regional CEO

QUINCY -- The Mississippi Valley Council, Boy Scouts of America has hired Ricci Dula as Scout executive and CEO. Ricci was selected after a two-month nationwide search and will start his duties Feb. 8.

Dula began his Scouting career at the Golden Empire Council in Sacramento, Calif., where he served as a district executive and senior district executive. Dula later became district director and later assistant Scout executive with the California Inland Empire Council in Redlands, Calif.

Dula is an Eagle Scout who enjoys sports and time with his family. Dula and his wife, Kristina, have two children, Ryan and Layla.

The Mississippi Valley Council, serves 13 counties in Illinois, Missouri and Iowa. It serves 2,600 youth and is a United Way Partnering agency.
