CARTHAGE, Ill. -- The summer line-up at the Legacy Theater in Carthage will feature the Dogs of Society: the Ultimate Elton Rock Tribute and the three-show "Live at the Legacy" summer series.
The Dogs of Society is a one night show at 7 p.m. Friday, June 22. The Dogs' high-energy show delivers an all-live, '70s-style rock concert faithful to the classic, early Elton John music. Tickets are $35 for VIP seating, in the first five rows, and $25 for all other seating.
The "Live at the Legacy" concerts series includes SIX at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. June 30, Johnny Counterfit at 7 p.m. July 13 and 2 p.m. July 14, and the Bretts Show at 7 p.m. Aug. 3 and 7 p.m. Aug. 4.
SIX is a contemporary vocal band featuring six real brothers, Barry, Kevin, Lynn, Jak, Owen and Curtis. Johnny is a music impressionist and comedian who will fill the theater with voices of great stars from traditional country music and pop singers, Hollywood legends, and impressions of all-time favorite comedians. The Bretts, performing on, Aug. 3, and 2 and 4, feature Tom and Andrea Brett and their children, Briahna, Garon and Brydon. Their singing act reached Branson in 1998, when they were invited to perform on the Showboat Branson Belle for one year. The next year they were asked to return for their own show.
Tickets are available for each series show individually or for all of them as a group.
