Published: 4/17/2012 | Updated: 5/18/2013

CANTON, Mo. -- Kiwanis will hold Pancake Day 2012 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at the Methodist Church picnic grounds at Seventh and Washington.

All proceeds from Kiwanis Pancake Day will go to the Canton Park Board for continued improvements to playground equipment and facilities in Central Park.

Tickets for Kiwanis Pancake Day 2012 are $7 for adults and $4 for children. They are available from any Kiwanian, or they may be purchased at the picnic grounds tent that day. A Buck Bucket will be available for donations to the parks project, as well.

Canton's High School Kiwanis Key Club, Boy Scouts and Culver-Stockton College education students will help with Pancake Day. As in years past, after all ticket holders have eaten, extra sausage will be offered for sale.

Kiwanis International strives to make the world a better place, "one child at a time."
