RODEO WINNER: Dot Foods hosted its seventh annual Forklift Rodeo National Championship in Mount Sterling on June 21, and Bobby Harris and the rest of the Illinois Frozen Warehouse took top honors. Harris posted the best overall time of 1 minute, 42 seconds, besting the closest competitor by 14 seconds, in the narrow aisle category to capture his first championship. A second-place finish on the Mule (otherwise known as the electric pallet jack) from Jon Moore and an eighth-place finish by Gary DeMoss on Sitdown Lift Truck helped the Frozen Warehouse secure the Distribution Center Championship. Harris has been with Dot Foods since 2006 and works the day shift at the Dot Foods Distribution Center in Mount Sterling. The winners from each category will enjoy their choice of one of seven all-expense paid vacations.
