Monday

n The Quincy City Council meets at 7:30 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall, 730 Maine. Among the topics is a resolution authorizing the city to buy property at 601 Jersey that would be converted into a parking lot.

Wednesday

n The Quincy School Board meets in special session at 7:30 a.m. in room 214 of the Board of Education office, 1416 Maine. Board members will consider an amended special education budget and amended district budget. They also will consider a resolution calling for a loan not to exceed $2 million from the working cash fund to the education fund.
