For the third straight year, the Quincy City Singles Tournament could be a family celebration.

The brother-sister act of Ian and Ashley Hinkamper will try to finish off championship three-peats Sunday morning at the Candy Greeman Tennis Center in Reservoir Park.

Neither faced much resistance during Saturday's action. On the men's side, Ian Hinkamper won two matches, losing just eight games in the process. The top-seeded Quincy University sophomore opened the day with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Mike Tracy. He followed that up with a convincing 6-4, 6-1 victory over third-seeded Todd Willing.

Hinkamper will face Paul Stuart in today's 10 a.m. final. Stuart also won two matches on Saturday. He opened the day with an upset of second-seeded Bill LaTour, a 12-time winner of the event. Stuart pulled out a 2-6, 6-2, 7-5 victory. He then knocked off Dave Santos 6-1, 6-1 to earn a spot in the final.

In a seven-person women's field, Ashley Hinkamper needed to win just one match to make it to the final. After receiving a first-round bye as the No. 1 seed, she downed Casey Bonham 6-3, 6-1. She'll face second-seeded Kadi Fauble in a 10 a.m. final today. Fauble breezed to two wins. She opened with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Nikita Berger. She then downed Theresa Quintero 6-1, 6-1 in the semifinals.

Three other champions will be decided today. In the women's 3.5 division, top-seeded Sarah Boyd will face third-seeded Larissa Berger. The men's 4.5 title will be contested between top-seeded Rusty Crane and second-seeded Troy Fox. In the men's 3.5 class, top-seeded Bryan Fasano will meet second-seeded Drew Koester for the crown.
