After honeymooning in Cancun, Mexico, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Irvine II are at home in Franklin, Tenn. Mr. Irvine and the former Miss Kate Murphy exchanged wedding vows at 2 p.m. Oct. 15 in the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Nashville, Tenn. The bride, of Nashville, is a daughter of Nancy Mahoney Murphy of Albany, N.Y. The bridegroom, of Franklin, is a son of Mike and Lisa Irvine of Quincy. The Rev. Edward T. Alberts conducted the ceremony. Michael Slattery was cantor; Andrea Goulart was vocalist; and Matt Combs, Rachel Combs, Jack Pearson and Rebecca Horton were musicians. Also participating were Megan O'Connell, Nancy Slattery and Karla Richmond, readers, and Bob Hays and Lucy Carver, gifts. Maid of honor was Sara Murphy, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Mandy Irvine, sister of the bridegroom, and Megan O'Donoghue. Best man was Kurt Labelle. Groomsmen were Peter Luttenbacher and Ben Derouchie, cousin of the bride. Flower girl was Vanessa Murphy, niece of the bride. The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner Oct. 14 in the Blackstone Brewery in Nashville. A rooftop reception was held at One Eleven in downtown Nashville. The bride is a graduate of Shaker High School in Latham, N.Y., and Hart School of Music at the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Conn. She is a singer/songwriter with her own band and performs throughout the Southeast. The bridegroom is a graduate of Quincy High School and Western Illinois University. He is a producer and co-host of "Shooting USA," producer and host of "Duck-Tech," and host of "Impossible Shots" on the Outdoor Channel. The bridal couple were honored with a shower in New York City hosted by Sara Murphy, Mandy Irvine and Megan O'Donoghue, and a shower at Spirit Knob Winery hosted by the bridegroom's aunts, Diane Weber, Karla Richmond, Sharon Vahlkamp and Judy Hays.
