The engagement of Keriann Alissa Ward and Stephen Thomas Steitz, both of St. Louis, has been announced by her parents. She is a daughter of Janet Ward, and a daughter and stepdaughter of Brian and Cheryl Ward, all of Quincy. Mr. Steitz is a son of Tom and Ann Steitz of Fenton, Mo. The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Quincy High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor's degree in organizational communication. Miss Ward is employed in human resources at Perficient Inc. The prospective bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of Rockwood Summit High School in Fenton and a 2009 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor's degree in finance and banking. He is a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. Mr. Steitz is employed in accounting at Lou Fusz Automotive Group. An Oct. 13 wedding is planned in Quincy University Chapel.
