The parents of Jessica Schieferdecker and Michael Stephens have announced the couple's engagement. A Sept. 1 wedding is planned in Plainville. Miss Schieferdecker, of Quincy, is a daughter of Kelly Flesner of Quincy and Steve Schieferdecker of Missouri. She is a 2005 graduate of Quincy High School and a 2010 licensed practical nurse graduate of the Hannibal Career and Technical Center in Hannibal, Mo. She is a nurse at Good Samaritan Home in Quincy. Mr. Stephens, also of Quincy, is a son of Becky Stephens of Fort Myers, Fla., and Michael Stephens of Orlando, Fla. He is a 2003 graduate of Cypress Lake High School in Fort Myers, and is a self-employed subcontractor through Doors-N-More.
