Kinscherf-Kerkhoff

Ron and Mary Kinscherf of Quincy have announced the engagement of their daughter, Abby Catherine Kinscherf, to Mark Nathan Kerkhoff, both of Charlotte, N.C. He is a son of William and Donna Kerkhoff, also of Quincy.

The bride-elect graduated in 2002 from Quincy Notre Dame High School, in 2006 from Truman State University with a bachelor of science degree in accounting, and in 2009 from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a master's degree in accounting. Miss Kinscherf is a certified public accountant licensed in North Carolina, and is a senior financial analyst in SEC reporting at Bank of America.

The prospective bridegroom graduated in 2002 from Quincy Notre Dame High School, in 2006 from Truman State University with a bachelor of arts degree in business management and business marketing, and is a 2009 magna cum laude graduate of Charlotte School of Law with a juris doctor. He is licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina and was recognized by his peers as a Young Gun in Business North Carolina magazine's Legal Elite 2011. Mr. Kerkhoff is employed as a member of MKN Employment Law Solutions.

A Sept. 29 wedding is planned in St. Peter Catholic Church in Quincy.
