The parents of Jordan Ashley Johnson and Matthew Martin Thomas have announced the couple's engagement. She is a daughter of Mike and Robin Johnson of Philadelphia, Mo. He is a son of Rex and Kathy Thomas of Dardenne Prairie, Mo. The bride-elect, of 2531 Camelot Court, is a 2010 graduate of Marion County R-2 High School in Philadelphia and a spring 2012 graduate of Moberly Area Community College in Hannibal, Mo., with an associate of arts degree. She is a sales representative at Illinois Signal Communications. The prospective bridegroom, of 3101 Rutledge Place, is a 2006 graduate of Quincy High School and a fall 2011 graduate of Quincy University. He is a member of Kappa Delta Pi. Mr. Thomas is a fifth-grade teacher at Baldwin Intermediate School. An Oct. 20 wedding is planned in Madison Park Christian Church.
