Robert "Bob" and Barbara Rhinberger

Robert "Bob" and Barbara Rhinberger of 614 N. 64th will be honored for their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. July 7 in Christ Lutheran Church. Family and friends are invited; they request no gifts.

The couple was married July 7, 1962, in Luther Memorial Church.

Mrs. Rhinberger is the former Barbara Honaker, daughter of the late Floyd "Cy" and Alma Honaker. Mr. Rhinberger is a son of the late Charlotte Stahl Herrick and the late Norman A. Rhinberger, and a stepson of Dorothy Rhinberger Hultz.

They are the parents of Anthony Rhinberger. They have two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Rhinberger was a gymnastics coach and elementary and junior high science teacher before retiring. He continues to work at auctions in the area, as well as being co-owner of Quincy Raceways. He has been an antique jar and bottle collector for over 50 years, and is a member of the Tri-Township Fire Department Board of Directors.

Mrs. Rhinberger retired as an elementary school teacher. She enjoys photography, art, arranging flowers, helping at her church and as a member of the American Association of University Women, PEO Sisterhood Chapter EC, Quincy Artist Guild, Salvation Army Auxiliary and Red Hatters of Quincy.

They are both very active members of Christ Lutheran Church and enjoy spending time with family and friends.
