Leonard and Virginia Meyer

Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Meyer of Good Samaritan Home in Quincy, formerly of Camp Point, will observe their 70th wedding anniversary. Family and friends are invited to help them celebrate with a card shower; cards may be sent to them at Good Samaritan Home, 2130 Harrison, Quincy, IL 62301.

Mr. Meyer and the former Virginia Frericks were married June 10, 1942, in St. Francis Catholic Church.

Mrs. Meyer is a daughter of the late Clemens and Clara Obert Frericks. Mr. Meyer is a son of the late John and Elizabeth Benz Meyer.

They are the parents of 11 children, Mrs. Robert (Carol) Wehner of San Antonio, Mrs. Barry (Judy) Eschman of Lockhart, Texas, Leonard C. of St. Peters, Mo., James of Fowler, Patricia Requet, Richard, Mrs. Johnnie (Darlene) Leithoff, Rita Schulze, Mrs. Stephen (Susan) Schoonover, Andrew, and Ann Peck of Quincy. They have 27 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Meyer is a retired farmer.

They are members of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Camp Point.
