Bross Construction is the lead contractor on the $4.1 million project. Work is expected to take about two months. During the early part of the work there will be one-lane traffic in Center while old pavement is removed and Routes P and H are shut down for about two weeks. Later the shoulders on the Mo. 19/U.S. 61 interchange will be stabilized. "It's been more than 10 years since we've done anything major to this road and we want to maintain its integrity," said Missouri Department of Transportation Resident Engineer Marty Lincoln.
