The Cavemen had tied the game in the top of the sixth when Jared Foster scored on a double steal. The Sliders, who are second in the West Division, put the game away in the bottom of the inning with two run-scoring singles and a sacrifice fly. Tyler Filliben had two hits for Hannibal, which fell to 7-9 in the second half and 23-23 over. Hannibal is now five games behind division-leading Terre Haute.
