Answers: What ever happened to "Toby and Susie Show" that was on Quincy TV

Growing up in Quincy, my grandmother used to take me to see the "Toby and Susie Show." Whatever happened to this delightful touring group?

Neil and Caroline Schaffner of Iowa entertained many in Iowa, Missouri and Illinois for more than 40 years and 8,000 performances. Neil Schaffner was the rube clown Tobias T. Toliver and Caroline was the pig-tailed Susie. They sold the business in 1963. Jimmie Davis and his family then took it over and performed for the last time on Feb. 18, 1998, two days before Davis died of a heart attack. Neil Schaffner died in 1969 and Caroline in 1998. Their memories live on at a museum in Mount Pleasant, Iowa.
