QUINCY -- The city of Quincy plans to resurface portions of 10 streets starting Friday, Sept. 14.
Diamond Construction Co. will mill and resurface the streets over a four-week period as part of the city's 2018 motor fuel tax asphalt maintenance program.
These streets are to be resurfaced:
º Maple Street from Fourth to Fifth.
º Colonial Court.
º Kenwood Avenue from College to Elm.
º Forrest Avenue from College to Elm.
º Oakland Avenue from College to Elm.
º Larch Road.
º Ranchland Drive.
º South 15th Street Madison to Jefferson.
º South 23rd Street from Cherry Lane to Brookmeade Drive.
º South 23rd Street from Van Buren to Jackson.
Motorists are asked to drive carefully near the work zones and use alternate travel routes when possible.
