Minor injuries reported in Knox County crash involving tractor

HURDLAND, Mo. -- Minor injuries were reported in a crash involving a tractor Wednesday in Knox County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said at 4:24 p.m., a 1965 John Deere 3020 farm tractor driven by Donald M. Easdale, 80, of Hurdland, pulled out of a field entrance on Route O three miles southwest of Hurdland into the path a northbound 2002 Ford Taurus driven by Logan A. Wehner, 27, of Kirksville. Police said both drivers failed to see one another and the vehicles struck each other.

Both Easdale and Wehner were taken by Knox County Ambulance to Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville for treatment.

Assisting at the scene were the Knox County Sheriff's Department and Knox County Fire and Rescue.
