KAHOKA, Mo. -- Police said an ice-covered rural road contributed to a one-vehicle crash Monday that sent a Revere woman to the hospital.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Mariah E. Taylor, 26, was driving east on Route C about 6 miles north of Kahoka at 12:10 p.m. The 2003 Chevrolet Blazer skidded on the road, went off the right side of the road and then off the left side, where it struck an embankment.
Taylor was not wearing a seat belt and had minor injuries. She was taken to Scotland County Memorial Hospital by private vehicle. There was minor damage to the Blazer, which was removed by the owner.
