Raiders earn victory at free-throw line

SHELBYVILLE, Mo. -- The North Shelby boys basketball team made 11 free throws in the fourth quarter to pull away from Community R-VI for a 59-51 victory Monday night.

Chas Shockley and Jarret Harrington both made three free throws as the Raiders broke a 38-38 tie at the end of third quarter. The Trojans managed just two field goals in the fourth quarter, getting outscored 21-13.

Harrington led the Raiders with 17 points, while Kirby Latimer had 11 points and Mason Uhlmeyer finished with 10.

North Shelby made 22 of 30 free throws as Community R-VI committed 24 fouls.
