QUINCY -- A Quincy man was arrested Saturday on a methamphetamine-related charge.

Dominic J. Hood, 30, of 1208 N. 13th, was arrested on a charged of unlawful delivery of methamphetamine in excess of 15 grams, a Class X felony.

The West Central Illinois Task Force and the Quincy Police Department Street Crimes Unit allege he was engaged in the sale of methamphetamine.

Court records show Hood is currently on bond for a 2017 Adams County possession of cocaine charge. That case is on the March jury trial docket.

The Task Force said the investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected.

Hood is being held in the Adams County Jail awaiting his first court appearance.
