QND loses double-digit lead in fourth quarter

ST. LOUIS -- Jordyn Brooks scored with three seconds left to cap a fourth-quarter rally by MICDS in a 57-56 victory over Quincy Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon.

QND led 28-16 at halftime and 39-29 after three quarters before the Rams (10-2) made their comeback, scoring 28 points in the final quarter. Kayla Work, who had not scored in the first three quarters, made five 3-pointers in the fourth quarter.

The Raiders, who played their first game since Dec. 22, took the lead with 18 seconds left when sophomore guard Maddie Peters, who scored 11 points, made one of two free throws.

Erika Eaton led four Raiders (4-7) in double figures with 12 points. Sydney Hummert had 11 points, and Molly Penn had 10.
