Central-Southeastern comes back to defeat QHS for third place

CAMP POINT, Ill. -- The Quincy High School girls basketball team lost 46-37 to Central-Southeastern 46-37 on Saturday night in the third-place game of the Central Lady Panther Classic.

The Blue Devils (10-7) led 21-13 at halftime. Bre Bordewick scored eight points in the first half.

Central-Southeastern (13-7) held QHS to just four points in the third quarter and took a one point lead heading into the final quarter.

Laney Lantz scored 10 points in the fourth quarter as the Panthers scored 20 fourth-quarter points and held on to win. Lantz finished with 24 points.

Bordewick led the Blue Devils with 14 points.
