Lathrom's 33 points leads Mark Twain to road victory

WELLSVILLE, Mo. -- The Mark Twain girls basketball team defeated Wellsville 66-24 in an Eastern Missouri Conference game Friday night.

McKenzie Lathrom's 20 points in the first quarter propelled Mark Twain (4-7, 1-2 EMC) to a 24-2 first-quarter lead. She scored another 11 points in the second quarter as the Tigers took a 45-9 lead into halftime. Lathrom finished with 33 points.
