Knox County beats Fayette on the road

FAYETTE, Mo. -- The Knox County girls basketball team held Fayette to just 11 first-half points in a 48-33 Lewis and Clark Conference victory Friday night.

Knox County (2-7, 2-1 LCC) led 23-11 at halftime behind Sidney Miller and Alyssa Peavler's combined 12 points.

Jessica Anderson scored eight points in the third quarter to push the Eagles lead to 17 heading to the fourth. She finished with a team-high 17 points.

Miller added 10 points for Knox County.
