HANNIBAL, Mo. -- A Hannibal man was arrested Monday after being accused of robbing another man at knifepoint.
Joshua L. Watkins, 34, was arrested on a charge of unlawful use of a weapon.
The Hannibal Police Department said a Hannibal man visited the department Monday to report being robbed by a man with a knife. The man reportedly took an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police said the accuser provided a description of the man and his last known location -- the Oakwood area.
At 11:44 p.m., police were called to the 1600 block of Singleton in reference to a suspcious man matching the description of the robbery suspect. Police said offers located the man, identified as Watkins, and took him into custody without incident.
A warrant for Watkins was issued Tuesday.
Watkins is being held in the Marion County Jail on a $5,000 cash-only bond.
