Posted: Jan. 6, 2018 12:01 am

CLAYTON, Ill. -- Clayton Christian Church, 202 E. Main, will hold a book study for seven to eight weeks at 6:30 p.m. each Tuesday, starting Jan. 16. The book to be studied is "Autopsy of a Deceased Church: 12 ways to Keep Yours Alive," by Thom Rainer.

For more than 25 years, Rainer has helped churches grow, reverse the trends of decline and has autopsied those that have died. From this experience, he has discovered 12 consistent themes among those churches that have died. From those 12 themes, lessons on how to keep a church alive have emerged.

Pastor Steve Surratt will facilitate the book study. Cost for the study is the cost of the book which is $6.

For more information or to reserve a book and spot in the study, contact Pastor Steve at 217-740-9234 or pastor@claytonchristianchurch.com.
