CANTON, Mo. -- Leah Miller set herself up for another run at a Heart of America Athletic Conference weekly honor.

The senior midfielder scored a goal and set up two others, leading the Culver-Stockton College women's soccer team to a 3-0 victory over Avila on Wednesday night in Heart action at NX Level Field.

Miller, who was named the Heart Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, helped the Wildcats get on the board in the 39th minute, assisting on Janelle St. Pierre's goal. Miller assisted on her second goal in the 54th minute, sliding a pass across the goalie box to Heather Pendegraft for a goal and 2-0 lead.

Miller scored when she won a loose ball in the penalty area and pushed it into the net in the 79th minute.

Kehley Bitzas and the C-SC defense made the lead last. Bitzas made an acrobatic save late in the game to preserve her fourth shutout of the season and 11th of her career. The Wildcars (8-4-1, 4-2-1 Heart) allowed only six shots and one on goal.
