MENDON, Ill. – The Unity volleyball team overcame a close first set loss to defeat West Hancock 23-25, 25-16 26-24 on Tuesday night in a West Central Conference match.
The Mustangs had a 22-18 lead in the third set when West Hancock made a four-point run to tie the score at 22, but Unity ended up pulling out the victory.
Amanda Schrader had 10 kills and 14 digs for the Mustangs (13-9, 4-3 WCC). Kaylee Nichols had 10 points with two aces and 21 assists, and Addison Miller had seven kills with 13 digs.
West Hancock fell to 3-19 and 0-7 in WCC play.
