Rosen wins Class 2A sectional, leads Quincy Catholic to IESA state

RUSHVILLE, Ill. -- Fiker Rosen won the Illinois Elementary School Association Class 2A cross country sectional on Saturday at Schuy-Rush Park with a time of 10:21, and he helped the Quincy Catholic boys team to a third-place finish.

Quincy Catholic will run at the IESA state meet next Saturday at Maxwell Park in Normal.

Other runners for the Quincy Catholic team were Aden Genenbacher (ninth, 12:10), Tristan Pritts (20th, 12:50), Denver Bryan (40th, 13:25), Austin Haskins (66th, 14:19), Ian Brueck (65th, 14:19) and Nathan Pabisiak (66th, 14:19).
