Tigers capitalize on errors

MEMPHIS, Mo. -- A pair of errors in the top of the third inning brought home Stevie See, pushing the Scotland County softball team a 3-2 victory over Knox County in the Class 1 District 11 semifinals Thursday.

Katie Feeney led off the first inning with a double to left field, and Khloe Hamlin hit a two-run single to score Feeney and Ashleigh Creek.

Knox County brought in a run in the bottom of the first, closing the score to 2-1.

See's run in the third inning, gave Scotland County (16-8) a 3-1 lead.

Knox County brought in one more run in the third, but left two runners on base.

Creek picked up the victory after allowing only three hits while striking out eight.
