Quincy man accused of sexually assaulting 2 children pleads not guilty

QUINCY -- A Quincy man has pleaded not guilty to charges in connection with the alleged sexual assault of two children under the age of 13.

Johnnie W. Kadow, 36, of 725 S. Sixth, entered not-guilty pleas to five counts of predatory criminal sexual assault Wednesday in Adams County Circuit Court. His case was placed on the November jury trial docket.

The Quincy Police Department arrested Kadow on Aug. 2 after receiving a call July 31 alleging that Kadow had been sexually assaulting children.

Kadow is being held in the Adams County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
