Driver taken to hospital after vehicle hits bump in road

MEMPHIS, Mo. -- A Clarence man was taken to Scotland County Hospital on Wednesday afternoon after a one-vehicle crash on private property off Mo. 15 about four miles south of Memphis.

Robert L. Hall, 40, suffered moderate injuries when the 2010 Mack trash truck he was driving hit a bump in the road, damaging the vehicle's undercarriage and injuring Hall.

A Missouri State Highway Patrol report said Hall was wearing a seat belt.

Assisting were the Scotland County Sheriff's Department and Scotland County Ambulance.

The crash occurred at 2:20 p.m.
