QUINCY -- Several recognizable local names were missing from the lineups of the 17th annual Running Raider Classic Tuesday at South Park.
Pittsfield's Eli Ten Eyck, who won the boys race last year, did not race as he's nursing a foot injury.
Clark County's Nathan Frazee, who finished in third last year, also did not race. Frazee competed in a race over the weekend at Palmyra and collapsed before the finish line. He wasn't cleared to resume racing Tuesday.
On the girls side, Macomb's Maya Stovall did not race.
Neither the Hannibal boys or girls cross country teams competed.
Teams wear shirts for Bowling Green coach
The Palmyra and Liberty cross country teams showed support to another team.
Runners and coaches from both teams wore black shirts with the words "Team Chance" in yellow. They were in support for Bowling Green coach Matt Chance, who has been battling cancer.
