MEXICO, Mo. – Hat tricks by Cory Allensworth and Adam Albright helped the Hannibal boys soccer team remain undefeated in the North Central Missouri Conference with a 10-2 win over Mexico on Tuesday afternoon.
Allensworth scored all three of his goals in the first half for the Pirates (7-3, 4-0 NCMC). Hannibal led 4-0 at halftime.
Allensworth's second goal, which came in the 22nd minute, was assisted by goalie Dave Falconer.
"He's got a big punt," Hannibal coach Eric Hill said of Falconer. "Cory did a great job of making a play off of it."
The Pirates' domination continued in the second half as Albright and Nathan DeStefane scored a pair of goals, and Albright's third goal in the game was unassisted and came in the 63rd minute.
Allensworth also had three assists.
