MARRIED JUNE 3, 2017 The Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy was the setting for the June 3 wedding of Amy Lynn Terwelp and Dwayne Michael Zanger, both of 1234 Monroe. The bride is a daughter of Tom and Cindy Terwelp of 2052 Elm. The bridegroom is a son of Shelly Hoffman of St. Charles, Mo., and the late Wayne Zanger. The bride was given in marriage by her father during the 2 p.m. ceremony conducted by her cousin, David Wilkerson. Also participating in the ceremony were Mckinley Smith, Kamrin England and Sydney Slater, attendants, and Dodge, the couple's pitbull, dog of honor. Maid of honor was Kristin Terwelp of Los Angeles, sister of the bride, and matron of honor was Kelle Beswick of Quincy. Bridesmaids were April Albert and the bridegroom's sister, Teri Junk, both of Quincy. Best man was Ross Beswick of Quincy. Groomsmen were Mathew Steinkamp of Springfield, Ill., and Greg Artz and Greg Platt, both of Quincy. Flower girls were Ava Beswick and Adalyn Junk, niece of the bridegroom, both of Quincy. Ring bearers were Dayne Zanger, son of the bridegroom, and Deacon Zanger, son of the bridal couple, both of Quincy. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the bride's parents. A reception began at 6 p.m. at the Quincy Holiday Inn. On June 4, Ross and Kelle Beswick hosted a barbecue at their home. The newlyweds are taking an Eastern Caribbean cruise this month, and are at home at 1234 Monroe. The bride is a 2006 graduate of Quincy University with a bachelor's degree in marketing. She is a dance instructor and competition team director at Vancil Performing Arts Center and a travel consultant for World Travel Holdings. The bridegroom is a maintenance technician with the Illinois Army National Guard 126th Quartermaster Company.
